Alex O’Brien

Alex O’Brien is the Assistant Vice President of Asset Management at The Chevy Chase Land Company. Alex plays a pivotal role in the leasing and property management functions across our diverse portfolio of office, retail, and multi-family properties. Since joining in 2018, he has been involved in nearly 1 million square feet of lease transactions, all acquisition, and disposition due diligence. He also helped create the strategy for repositioning nearly 500,000 square feet of traditional office space into medical-focused assets and is heavily involved in every construction project within the portfolio.

A native of Charlotte, NC, Alex graduated from North Carolina State University with a major in finance, and furthered his education with a master’s in real estate from Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies, concentrating in real estate finance. He currently resides in Arlington, VA with his fiancée and dog.
