Alex O’Brien

Alex O’Brien is the Assistant Vice President of Asset Management at The Chevy Chase Land Company. Alex plays a pivotal role in helping oversee the leasing and property management functions across our diverse portfolio of office, retail, and multi-family properties. Since joining in 2018, he has been involved in nearly 1 million square feet of lease transactions and all acquisition and disposition due diligence. He has also helped create the strategy for repositioning nearly 500,000 square feet of traditional office space into medical focused assets and is heavily involved in every construction project within the portfolio.

A native of Charlotte, NC, he graduated from North Carolina State University with a major in Finance, and furthered his education with a Master’s in Real Estate from Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies, concentrating in Real Estate Finance. He currently resides in Washington, DC with his girlfriend and dog.
